About P.A.R.T. Texas

Pain Awareness — Right to Treatment exists to protect chronic pain patients, defend individualized medical care, and help Texans understand that pain patients deserve dignity, access, and a voice.

Be PART of the Solution

P.A.R.T. Texas was created to stand with chronic pain patients, their families, and the medical professionals who believe treatment decisions should be made between patients and their doctors — not controlled by fear, stigma, rigid policies, or one-size-fits-all limits.

Who We Are

P.A.R.T. Texas stands for Pain Awareness — Right to Treatment. We are a Texas-focused advocacy organization working to raise awareness, protect patient rights, and support policies that respect individualized care for people living with chronic pain.

Why We Exist

Too many chronic pain patients are treated with suspicion instead of compassion. Many face forced tapers, abandoned care, pharmacy refusals, insurance interference, and policies that treat guidelines like law. P.A.R.T. Texas exists because patients deserve better.

What We Believe

We believe medical decisions should be individualized. A patient’s treatment plan should be guided by the patient and their doctor, based on medical need, history, function, quality of life, informed consent, and safety — not arbitrary limits or political pressure.

Our Texas Focus

P.A.R.T. Texas is committed to advocating for Texans. Our work includes education, public awareness, legislative advocacy, patient-rights efforts, membership outreach, and building a stronger voice for chronic pain patients across the state.

Our Mission

Our mission is to protect chronic pain patients’ right to appropriate, compassionate, individualized treatment while promoting awareness, education, informed consent, and policy reform in Texas.

What We Stand For

Dignity

Chronic pain patients deserve to be heard, believed, and treated with respect.

Access

Patients should not be denied appropriate care because of fear, stigma, or blanket policies.

Choice

Treatment options should remain available unless they are proven harmful or inappropriate for that patient.

Accountability

Government agencies, insurers, pharmacies, and health systems should not override individualized care without cause.

Join the Effort

P.A.R.T. Texas is building a stronger voice for chronic pain patients across Texas. Whether you are a patient, family member, supporter, volunteer, or advocate, you can be part of the solution.
